TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The I AM Series Portrait Experience

These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients booking The I AM Series Portrait Experience with Layra Marz Photography, referred to as Photographer, We, Us, or Our. Client, You, or Your refers to any individual booking or participating in this experience.

By booking a session, submitting payment, or participating in the experience, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The I AM Series is a guided black and white portrait experience centered on presence, self expression, leadership energy, and personal legacy.

Participation is voluntary and intended for personal and artistic purposes. Clients must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

BOOKING AND EXPERIENCE INVESTMENT

The I AM Series Portrait Experience begins at $2500.

The experience includes:
• A ninety minute guided in studio portrait session
• Creative direction and posing support
• A reflective I AM word intention experience
• A curated image reveal
• Twenty five final black and white images
• A keepsake storybook or legacy diary designed to preserve your images and reflections

Additional artwork, albums, and wall pieces may be available for purchase following the session.

All session fees and payments are non refundable and non transferable.

BOOKING WORKFLOW AND SCHEDULING

Booking for The I AM Series is completed through the official booking link provided by Layra Marz Photography.

Once payment is submitted, clients will receive a confirmation email with instructions to select a session date from available options.

Session dates are offered on a first come basis and are subject to availability within the project timeline.

Failure to select a session date within the provided timeframe may result in delayed scheduling but does not affect the non refundable nature of the payment.

ARTWORK, IMAGES, AND DELIVERABLES

Clients receive twenty five professionally edited digital images as part of the I AM Series experience.

Unedited or RAW image files are not provided under any circumstances.

All final images are delivered in Layra Marz Photography’s signature black and white style. Color images are not available for this series.

Custom printed products, albums, and artwork are final sale.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

A minimum of 10 days notice is required to reschedule a session.

One reschedule is permitted and must take place within the project timeline, subject to availability.

Cancellations, no shows, or reschedule requests made with less than 10 days notice will result in forfeiture of all payments.

In the unlikely event the Photographer must reschedule due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, the session will be rescheduled at the earliest available date.

THE I AM WORD EXPERIENCE

As part of The I AM Series, clients are invited to choose an I AM word representing their current season of life.

This word may be written on the forearm using non toxic black or white watercolor paint and photographed during the session.

Participation in this portion of the experience is optional.

Clients with known skin sensitivities must notify the Photographer prior to the session.

PROJECT TIMELINE AND SERIES SCOPE

The I AM Series is a limited body of work running from February through June.

This project will culminate in a celebratory gallery exhibition honoring the series and the 5th anniversary of Layra Marz Photography.

Participation in the series does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition. Final selections are made at the Photographer’s discretion based on artistic cohesion and storytelling.

IMAGE USAGE, COPYRIGHT, AND EXHIBITION

All images remain the sole copyright of Layra Marz Photography.

Clients receive a personal use license for delivered images. Images may not be altered, filtered, cropped, or used commercially without written permission.

Images from The I AM Series may be used for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, educational purposes, and exhibition promotion.

Clients may opt out of marketing or exhibition use by submitting a written request prior to the session.

Clients selected for exhibition inclusion will be notified separately.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND EMOTIONAL NATURE OF THE WORK

The I AM Series is an intimate and reflective experience. Emotional responses may arise during or after the session.

The Photographer is not acting as a licensed therapist or mental health professional and does not provide medical or therapeutic services.

Clients are encouraged to communicate boundaries, needs, or concerns at any time.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including emotional responses, physical movement, and use of studio space or furniture.

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments are processed through third party providers such as Stripe, Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal.

Layra Marz Photography does not store credit card information.

By submitting payment, clients agree to the terms of the selected payment processor.

REFUNDS AND CHARGEBACKS

All sales are final.

Clients agree to contact Layra Marz Photography directly to resolve concerns before initiating a chargeback.

Chargebacks may result in forfeiture of session privileges and future booking eligibility.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Layra Marz Photography shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in this experience.

TERMINATION OF SERVICES

Layra Marz Photography reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a client engages in abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior toward the Photographer or studio space.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

By booking The I AM Series Portrait Experience, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
